The sound of snot

Fifty percent of any visual medium is the sound. What would this ad be like with a different choice in music? The effect of music is well documented, but getting it right is another thing. This short clip shows how Jam worked with Sean Timms and local soprano Karen Lettice to produce a soundtrack of such power.

The “Out It Flu” commercial created by Jam has now received over 2 million hits on the net, was voted Top Ten Viral Videos in the World by Digg, has screened on French TV as a feature on the world’s best advertising, is included in a BBC documentary distributed around the world, and was tweeted about by Ashton Kutcher to his 3.4 million viewers.

That’s what we call viral marketing.
