If you can make it here…

Some of you may not know yet that Mike has been chosen to sit on the 2011 New York Festival’s Advertising Grand Jury.

The Grand Jury represents the “who’s who” of international advertising experts and judges can only be invited by past Grand Jury members.

“It’s a privilege to be invited on the Grand Jury,” says Mike.  “The chance to judge with the world’s best Advertising people, and to be invited by my peers, is a huge thrill.

And a trip to New York isn’t too bad either.”

Mike is also looking forward to bring back some souvenirs. “It’s a great opportunity to see the best ideas from around the world, and bring these insights back to our clients at Jam.”

The Grand Jury is comprised of Chief Creative Officers, Executive Creative Directors, Creative Directors, Executive Producers, Film Directors and Designers, representing over 55 countries.

Past judges include: Neil French, WW Creative Director, Singapore, Singapore, Rob Belgiovane, Chief Creative Officer, BWM, Sydney, Australia, Dave Bowman, Creative Director, Saatchi & Saatchi, Australia, James McGrath, Executive Creative Director, Clemenger BBDO Melbourne, Australia, and so on.

Mike will also feature on the NYF websites and in the NYF Annual of Advertising, the largest selling advertising annual in the world.

The awards ceremony and conferences will be held on Friday, May 6, in New York City.

If you would like to carry Mike’s bags to New York in May, you’ll have to go to Broken Hill as that is the end of the queue of volunteers.
